There are traditional villages nearby including Kouklia which is located to the west and is a quiet, traditional Cypriot village about a 10-minute drive from Aphrodite Hills. Kouklia offers good local restaurants and events in the summer all set in the tranquil surroundings of this sleepy enclave.

Within a 15 minute drive, you will reach the village of Pissouri which extends from the traditional village on the hillside down to the sheltered Bay with its clear blue sea. The beach at Pissouri is the proud recipient of a blue flag award and boasts a shoreline that extends for two kilometres. A handful of informal tavernas and restaurants offering a selection of local and international cuisine are found along the fringe of the sand and shingle beach.

A 15-minute drive west will bring you to the town of Paphos with its world heritage sites, modern shopping facilities and attractive harbour area.
